Not planning to overclock
Computer is for gaming
Is everything good other then the processer bieng a i7?

If the rig is for gaming, then you don't need an i7, which it seems you already know, and you don't need 16 GB of RAM. 8 GB is more than enough. Most don't really use much more than 4 or 5.

If you don't plan to OC, then save the money and get a regular non-k series CPU and an H77 mobo.

The i7 and 16GB of RAM are not needed for a gaming system - I'd say drop that and use the difference to upgrade your PSU to a 750W and whatever else you need (card reader, OS license, etc). Otherwise that all looks pretty good to me.

A Z77 board supports SLI (dual cards running @ x8) and allows for over clocking.

H77 is the basic, mainstream mobo. Z77 offers you the option of overclocking, and is for enthusiasts and overclockers. I would get Z77 since it's not too much more, and it is in general, better enginereed/built.

 

[Why_Me]

Look for these changes in that build of yours. Since you don't plan on over clocking then no need for an unlocked cpu.

If you want to leave open the option to add another card later on then look at this board + cpu combo and the psu down below it.
