Rigging an 8800GT to a laptop motherboard

Is this possible to do? I have a sandy bridge based Dell laptop with integrated video and an 8800GT desktop video card. If I removed the motherboard would it be possible to link it to the 8800GT via a PCI-e cable?

Hard to do, but possible yes?

In theory it should be possible, but it'd take a lot of custom hardware, access to some pretty specialized tools, and short of a drunk EE grad student, I can't imagine anyone thinking it would be a good idea to even try.
