so this is my build and the disk drive and windows 7 i am purchasing through amazon so they are not linked. i have the following questions:

Should i step up and replace the 550 with a radeon 6850?
I have been told my ram is overkill for my build, is this true and how can i correct this?
Is there anything on here that is overkill, or underkill, for a simple gaming pc?
thanks so much in advance i tried to make this easy for anyone to view, the overall price including OS and monitor is 750~

so i guess the 6850 is compatible with intel builds so that doesnt worry me but is it worth the extra money? and someone please just tell me this is a reasonable build and im not a crazy person lol

Spend a little bit more on your GPU and get something like this:

Also, increase your RAM because its so cheap right now:

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 ( $54

keep the ram you have and go with the xfx CORE edition radeon HD7770 ghz
edition same 124.99 before rebate but only 104.99 after (free shipping).
Faster and less power hungry for less dough. also should overclock to
hd 6870 or gtx560 performance levels. hope this helps.
