I also know that I'll only have 4gb of ram but will get more later.
I'm on a $1150 budget just to let you know.

It's all compatible, but since you are looking to save a couple of bucks, why don't you take a look at these:

XFX Core Edition PRO650W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207014
It's also built by Seasonic, just like the TX650 you have.

With the money saved by using the XFX instead, you can get more RAM now in dual channel and still be within your budget:
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428

Everything else is just fine, but Patflute does raise a good point about waiting just a little longer to see what Nvidia brings to the table with the 660Ti. I was just like you, I wanted to build something so bad, and I delayed and...

Wait for the 660ti coming out in the middle of the month.

Dual channel is better than quad channel so just spend the extra $20 for 2x4gb.

Switching your OS to the SSD might be a pain.

I'm not asking for whats better because we can argue whats better or not. I'm simply asking if this goes all together. By the way if I wait for something you never know something better is coming out so it's just gonna get a reach around plus I know how to transfer OS to another HDD. Also that one 4gb stick is just as good as dual plus gives me more room for more ram later.

Wut? I'm not saying the 660ti is better, it's not even out. I'm saying wait 2 weeks and see. The price of the 7870 will go down a lot and you might want to get the 660ti. It also fits your Guild Wars 2 date.

Single channel is not as good as dual, don't make stuff up. I'm just saying get 2x4gb for 20 more...

Also the second second sentence made absolutely no sense.

Ok im going to make my try at this. First you will want dual channel ram. stated above. second, 8 gb for ram is the usual amount and what you should get. Second you will not nessesary need an anti static wrist strap. i thought i did but just touch the case every while and you will be more then fine. Third if the 660 comes out at like augest 16th then you can get the gpu you want for cheaper because they want to try to compete with the 660 NOTE you do not have to get the 660/ 660ti. This all in all will give you money for 8 gb which is only 25$ more. Also im not sure if your set on asus for motherboard but asrock z77 extreme 4 is a great motherboard.

if this is not what you want and don't want help well then why post here?

I was just like you, I wanted to build something so bad, and I delayed and delayed and saw entire generations of intel CPUs come and go. I finally said ENOUGH and bought into ivybridge. I am very happy, but with the 660Ti just around the corner (2 weeks or so away), waiting a fortnight won't be too bad, I swear!

P.S. I have the Maximus V Gene, it is one fun bastard to play with.

Dalen Thank you so much and I will take your advice of that PSU instead so I can get more ram. I do agree with pat but I've been waiting too long to get a gaming pc since I've been so busy in the Army and I know It MIGHT be better GPU but I'm excited so waiting is killing me plus I feel good about the 7870 giving me exactly what I want and plus in a year I'll just upgrade so thank you dalen you deserve the best answer.
