Here was my new build:

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
G.Skill Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
GTX 670
Cooler Master HAF 922 ATX Mid Tower Case
PC Power & Cooling 750W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer
Asus VE248H 24.0" Monitor
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit)

Now here's my problem, or should I say problems:

*My front microphone and headphone jack don't work at all.
*I can't figure out how to make my computer play sound through the speakers (monitor speakers) until I plug in the headset and then when I unplug the headset have it return to the speakers. It seems whatever device I make default it will only use that one even if the headset is unplugged.

I have the RealTek Audio Manager installed. Can anyone help?

I went into my BIOS and disabled the front jack altogether and now my sound will transfer between my speakers and headset as I plug in/unplug my headset. I wonder if my front audio jacks possibly don't support HD audio and that's leading to the issue?
