Hello,
Exactly what the title says. I am looking for a cheap fan/heatsink setup for AMD FX 4100 Bulldozer. I just got this processor and I'm ready to do some overclocking and I doubt the one that it came with will be sufficient. Also, the one that it came with is emitting a very quiet squealing sound when the fan spins.

I was looking at this one: http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Hyper-TX3-RR-910-HT...

Any other suggestions?

The Hyper TX3 is a great cooler. I know that Intel CPUs run cooler, but on a friend's PC it decreased temperatures on his i5 3570k by 20C under load, and he was able to get it from 3.5 to 4.2 and it still runs 5-10C cooler than stock cooler + stock clocks. So in conclusion, yes it is a very good CPU cooler to go for for the price.

I used the TX3 to overclock a 4100 to 4.4 Ghz.

A 212+ would be better if it will fit in your case, but the TX3 was able to keep the the overclocked 4100 just below max dafe temp under full synthetic load. (probably hotter than any real-life situation)
