GPU

Hello, I'm looking for a good graphics card. I have up to about £85 to spend on it. I will be playing games such as minecraft, counterstrike, TF2 and the odd demanding games such as crysis. Can anyone help me? Thanks. I'm really stuck on what to get!

  1. GTX 550 ti, it's around the top end of your budget :)
  2. Yea but I see some bad reviews about that that say radeon is better....?
  3. What are your full system specs?(CPU,RAM,etc.)

For the price point I would say the 7770 is the better option. It's slightly faster while consuming less power. It is also highly overclockable.

    8gb of ram, amd fx-6 CPU :)
  5. Ya with a 7770 you should be able to max out all of those games with the exception of Crysis of course.

After looking around it seems the 7770 might be out of your budget. The 7750 is also a good choice. It seems the 7750 and tghe GTX550ti are neck and neck on most of the benchmarks. One thing to consider though is that the 7750 consumes half of the power of a GTX550ti.

    Here's what I found...

    Asus GTX550ti £80

Ok, I hear the the radeon 6670 and 6750 are also good, how to they compare to the 7750? Thanks :)
  7. Depending on the resolution you can get higher or lower frame rates

    1920x1080:

    1280x1024:

    Hope that helps :)
  8. Ya it seems the 7750 is your best bet.
