What is the best Graphics card and power supply (if needed) for less than $200? Just picked up a new computer with 3.1 FX 8 core processor and 12 GB DDR3 ram.

I'm looking to play some battlefield 3!

Hey buddy.

Is battlefield your only / major concern and what resolution you looking to play at? What PSU do you have currently?

Hi, definetely not only concern. Do some light video editing, photoshop, corel, etc.

What resolution? Highest res possible at highest settings would be ideal :)

My PSU right now is only, 350W I believe. Actually unboxing the new PC tonight and will have that exact spec.

best bet is to unbox new PC and list all your details as best you can matey so myself or others can give you best advice. If you are keeping same PSU then i recommend upgrading your PSU as 350W is quite low for modern day GPU's.

Best thing you could do is upgrade your PSU which cuts the costs of getting better GPU but it is a must GPU:ASUS EAH6850 DC/2DIS/1GD5/V2 Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity

^ note the asus dcii models usually have 2 6 pin slots, although you only need one, there's that very minute chance that something can happen

how do I know what size PSU I 'll need. considering the geforce 560. Current PC has onboard gfx with 350w power supply. WOuld a 430 PSU be enough? For $20 more i can get 600w.
