Need software advice

I need to find a good ( free) software utility that will allow me to back up my hard drives to cd-rw's it needs to be able to span disks etc anyone have any ideas ?? I already have adaptec cd creator 4.x and clonecd but neither of these spans cd-rw disks.

CD writer is a Yamaha 16x10x40 2100ez ide

Glad to help make your CDRW's into the Direct CD format so that any application caan write to them and use winzip to span the files.
