Q 6600 vs pentium g 630 ?

i have two options in mind for my new processor.
one is pentium g630T (dual core)and the other
is a quad core q 6600.
the problem is that back here in my country the lga 775 socket processors have a soaringly high price tag and the q6600 is 5 times costlier than the g630 .

i even have seen the g630 beat the q6600 by a slight amount in cpu bench marking...!!!!!!!!

well, all the factors are pointing me and making me inclined towards the g630.
i just needed some expert advice on this fact that which of the two mentioned processors will perform better in gaming?????

can a dual core processor really beat a quad core??????
pls help....(which one to go for)

speed counts more than core as most game can only use 2 cores but all of the games like megahertz

i cannot tell you which games will have which cpu beat the other. but considering the price difference, i will suggest the G630 is a much better buy. now i do know a i3-2100 will beat a Q6600 in all games, so maybe later . . .?

this was the benchmarking i was talking about/....
this depicts that both of these processors have comparable performance lineup....
definitely g630 is a better choice and that too, by a huge margin while considering cost vs performance.....
