Why can't I see any available wireless networks on wireless d-link DWL-G510?

Provide a bit more information on the problem. What operating system is your PC running?
I see a lot of people with D-Link cards having this problem with Windows 7.
Also that card is pretty outdated seeing as how it was discontinued in 2007 in the US.

I am using windows-XP (SP2). Have just bought a new different wireless card and its working well. I am able to see available wireless networks now. However, I tried the same failed card on windows7 and It's working well. Thank your for your response.
