Ok this is a weird one. All my hardware checks out. Mem check Cpu check dxdiag etc.
My build
P6T Motherboard
I7 920 quad cpu
1000 watt P/S
12 Gigs DDR 3 OCZ Gold
GTX 280 1 Gig Ram came overclocked
Sound Blaster Fatality Pro
HPw2207h
1 Terrabyte USB (Backup HD)
1.5 Terrabyte sata (main hd Win 7 Ultimate 64)
DVD RW CD rom
320 HD IDE (XP Pro)

Had some weird checkerd color bule/green yellow/orange upon booting up to Win7. Safe Mode is fine and so is Win Xp Pro.
Sometimes it will take 3 or 4 boots safe mode to regular before I can get into Win 7

Have done a re-install and all latest drivers. The only thing I can think of is that 1st time I loaded HD I used my Drivers for the Mother board. 2nd install I just reinstalled windows 7 the only driver I loaded for the motherboard was the one for the onboard lan card.

Ok bump! I thought that maybe the problem could have been a 2 fold one.
Funny, I had updated Vid card drivers to play BF3, which ran fine and no probs.. so figured out that it could possibly be the following

Problem 1) Downloaded and installed a pirated game.
Game ran fine but random crahses.. searching for solutions found out it was a common error.
Prob 2)
Being a smoker, thought maybe time to clean out CPU fan and system. Took off CPU fan blew out and replaced. Got CPU overheated etc.. put on some CPU Greese/Glue ect.. CPU heat went from 85 Celcius to 45 to 50...
But then....
After reformatting HD Sata 1.3 terrabyte, reinstalling Win7, Doing the Mother board driver update from website of Asus P6T and updates from Microsoft... same dam thing!
Rebooted in Safe mode is fine... but to try and get into Win7 just a checkerd screen after the password!

But yet Win Xp Pro.. ahem..... pirated..... its fine...

1st time I installed... Win Vista pro (Bought) 340 bucks.. just after I built system... all was fine.. then found out about win 7
heard about free upgrade, but was too late.. give me a break. I purchased Win Vista pro on May 28 or 29th... but I could not get free upgrade to win 7 unless I had just purchased win Vista on June 1.. :( what????

Ok so I had bought win 7 ultimate.. installed it.. I had XP Vista and Win 7 ..... all went fine, ran fine, ran fine etc.. but I usually used XP then took the plung and started useing Win 7.

Now Win 7 won't install.. won't work (only in safe mode) and have reformatted, deleted the partion and reformatted... tried everything..
did a check disk (took over 3 hours) ect...
So whats up with the Win 7 now?

Any Ideas?

Hardware is fine, done extensive tests on all. HD's , Vid , Mem, Sound etc..

I am so confused.. and to try to get any support from microsoft.. its like pulling hind teath from a croc...

No wonder people pirate .. to make sure the crap works before shelling out hard earned dollars..

did try MS support site but they want a CC before they will answer you..

What a bummer.. once worked now don't...
Any help/suggestions??
Thanks
