UPS

I am wondering if someone can help me identify this UPS system. It is a 3 phase unit that has an IBM sticker so I assume that it was probably ordered together with their mainframe. I am trying to get approximate pricing

On the service tag is specifies
SYSTEM: Balanced Power 80
MODEL: 50
AC IN: 480 VAC DELTA, 60HZ, 3 PHASE 82A
AC OUT: 208 VAC WYE, 60HZ P PHASE, 139A, 40KW, 50 KVA
DC: 480 VDC 160 A

That sticker should read "International POWER Machines" not IBM.
Thats an old ups made by ipm and the cabinet is probably what is model 50. You buy the ups part and the battery cabinet seperate you see.

Thank you. You are right.. It is a IPM. I did see their new models and that they are modular. Any guess what an older system like this would sell for? The reason I ask is that I have an opportunity to buy this unit cheap. All I have to do is provide an electrician to disconnect and possibly a mover. It is very clean and lived in an environment controlled room.

I really dont think anyone would buy it. From a parts availability for it standpoint, there can't be much out there, making a maintenance contract on it very expensive.
