I am building my own gaming PC for the first time and think i have all the parts i need picked out. (excluding RAM,Monitor,Speakers, and Mouse/Keyboard)

Motherboard - ASUS P6T WS PRO -

Video Card - ASUS Geforce GTX 670 -

Case - Cooler Master HAF 932 Advance - MASTER HAF 93

CPU Cooling - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO -

Power Supply - Cooler Master Silent Pro 1000 Watt -

DvD Writer - ASUS DRW-24B1ST -

Sound Card - ASUS Xonar DG 5.1 -

Will all these parts work together correctly/do i have all the parts i need for the tower?

  1. Oh yeah forgot to mention, im looking to build the cheapest possible gaming pc that can run games like skyrim,Battle Field 3, MW3 etc. on highest settings at least 60 fps
  2. Should replace that i7 Bloomfield with a i5 3570k Ivy Bridge and a z77 mobo. Socket 1366 is obsolete, still gives good performance, but its a dead architecture. Altho I could be wrong.

A COre i7 will not help in gaming and a 1st gen too? Get the core i5 3570k and z77 MOBO. Do not buy COoler master PSU. And a 1000W is overkill. Get a Corsair TX650 which is far more than enough for a GTX 670 which is very power efficient, you can ditch the Xonar card and Networking card if you want to spare some money
  4. thanks
  5. is a z77 micro-mobo good enough?
