Hey there
I have just upgraded my PC with 2 x MSI 6970 Lightning GFX cards and i am now suffering from a bizarre resolution splitting issue. As you can see below, the screen will cut randomly and move whatever section has been cut to the other side of the screen. This usually happens in game but sometimes when just browsing internet.
I performed a completely clean install of windows when installing these cards, when this error occurred i uninstalled CCC and used drive sweeper to remove all drivers and then re installed from 12.4 to 12.6 CCC and the same problem still occurs.
I have taken the cards out of crossfire, used both individually and the error still persists.
I have exhausted all my knowledge in this field so could anyone perhaps provide advice please?
My specs are:
Intel I7 2700k @ 4.5 GHZ
Corsair H60 Heatsync
ASUS P67 Sabertooth Mboard
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM 16gb @1600
2 X MSI 6970 Lightning GPU
XFX 850 XXX PSU
60gb OCZ SSD
1TB Seagate HDDSeagate HDDSeagate HDD
NZXT Phantom
Butload of fans
Thanks
Funk
