if i buy this cable will i get a 2560x1600 resolution at 25ft?

I want to make sure as i will be installing it in my wall and than dry walling over it. I want to make sure it will work first. I would test but i don't have the HP IPS 30" monitors yet.

I currently have a 15 foot cable could i just get a extender? would i still get the full 2560x1600 resolution?

Yes at 25 ft you will still get the full resolution. You should still get it even with an extender, but a single cable would be a much better option. Have you checked monoprice instead of newegg, they seem to be the cheapest as far as cables.
