So whats better, Upgrading my GPU to a lets say.. somewhere around 7950 and above?

Dude he does not need i5 2500k for crysis. His i5-2320 is perfectly fine and is in fact a very powerful CPU which will be enough for any modern game.

@OP: It's the graphics card. Crossfiring HD 6950 would be a nice idea if you can get another one relatively cheap (up to $200) and you have a PSU that will support it. Otherwise, I'd suggest GTX 670. It's faster than HD 7950 for the same price.

Consider upgrading the GPU as Sunius said :)

how's your case's air-flow? and your PSU can take it. I vote Xfire to save you a few dollars

GTX 670 would definitely do it. Crysis 2 likes Nvidia GPUs better - though the HD 7xxx series does well too.

Another option is MaLDoHD 3.0 + Blackfire 2 mods. Those actually smoothed things out for me. And the game looks a lot better, too!

Crossfire will be a better option if you are on a tight budget
else go for a 670 :)
Crysis works better on nvidia gpu but thats not the only game you will be playing so I will go for crossfire :)
