i need a powersupply than can handle an overclocked 2500k and an overclocked 7970. i never really studied to far into them i was looking at 700-750s maybe
I always like the SeaSonic, Antec, and PC Power and Cooling units the best though, this SeaSonic is a bit more money but you get, more power, a modular design, and I've used PSU's from this company and never have had a problem with them yet: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151102 (it's also on sale plus it has a $20 rebate).

i was looking at those two , and i see some say sli ready or crossfire ready, correct me if im wrong but if there's enough powercables to power the videocards does it matter?
SLI and Crossfire ready doesn't mean anything. They send the PSU to Nvidia or AMD and they'll slap a sticker on it so kids who aren't sure of what they're doing will buy it. Any decent PSU will have at least 4 PCI power cables.
