More about evga supernova nex750b
  1. The specs look good but I could not find a review on the usual sites. I do not belief that EVGA would put their name on substandard equipment.
  2. So it should be good?
  3. Specs say so and it is new so not many people have it and therefore not many reviews on it.

id say go with a known powersupply, evga makes good stuff but still too new to know how good it is.

65$ after mail-in-rebate quite solid power supply and id take that over the evga as i cannot find any review at this time and cannot comment on quality.

I agree with rolli - I could not find a review on it from a known quality review site
(jonnyguru, hardware secrets, hardocp). I believe it's FSP built, it could be good.
EVGA has a good rep overall, but I'd go with something that can be verified
    with testing.

PS - iceclock linked you a known to be solid psu at a good price.
  6. like the xfx 750 i recommanded, very stable powersupply.

toyftw do u know what oem makes xfx powersupplies by any chance thanks.

Yes - most (at least 8 models) XFX PSU's are Seasonic built
  8. well no wonder they perform so well :) seasonic is pretty hard to beat when it comes to quality in a powersupply.

Useful site when questioning origin of PSU's http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page625.htm
And the EVGA is made by FSP http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page2293.htm

Yeah - I thot the EVGA supernova were FSP, but that doesn't always mean good,
but in this case I think it's a good line

If you go his home page johnnylucky.org he provides the actual links
of the testing to the recommended psu's. It's free and he does a
great job of keeping it current.

    http://www.johnnylucky.org/power-supplies/psu-recommendations.html

his 'Lemon list' is also very useful - tho it doesn't provide the oem's,
have to dig a little for that
