Hello samuraee;

This is not a Windows 7 question.

What do you need to chance your RAM settings?

because he probably made the same mistake i did and buy 1.6v ram instead of 1.5v

so the motherboard lowers the voltage down to the default 1.5v

i believe its in xbm settings or something. but you wont to check the voltage and everything is right as well

First of all thanks for answers guys and sorry for posting it in the wrong place.

Actually my BIOS configures the frequency, timing, voltage and etc automatically. I'd like to know if there is any BIOS version for Asus laptops that allows manual configuring, not only for memory, but for several hardware.

If the BIOS the laptop came with does not offer those options, it's best not to mess with it. Although ASUS should have some pretty good options for this. Did you check if the BIOS has a "Advanced Options" mode? Some computers hid things like that by default.
