Hello, I have been looking for the forums and I can't really find a topic that applies to me 100%

I have built a new computer, everything works fine, I am getting 1 beep from the internal speaker and it is displayed on the monitor.

The problem is that I am trying to install the operating system from an external hard drive, and I can't get to the BIOS set up because the keyboard driver won't install. Therefore I can't press delete or f2 or anything to stop it from saying 'Loading Operating System... disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter'.

I am using a GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3 AMD 970 Motherboard.

what kind of keyboard? you shouldn't have to load a driver just to punch a key.

have you tried a different usb slot also try putting a flash drive into the slot that it is in if that does not work then it is more than likely the motherboard... :/
