6950 HD power supply question???

Hello,
is a ocz-450 model #ocz-450 12 U, enough to power this card .... SAPPHIRE 11188-22-20G Radeon HD 6950 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card (OC Edition). I dont over clock my cpu and have two standrad 7200rpm hard drives running. The amp on the 12v is 26. Thanks

  1. You should be fine. What is the rest of your system specs? How many drives and fans is important too. But for a typical system with a 6950 you should not draw more than 350w under heavy load.

    I have one in a closet somewhere
    Discontinued around 6 years ago, and wasn't all that good to begin with ( A 350 watt Dell psu from the same time period could put 28 amps of it's power on the 12v )
    No way I'd run a modern system with it
