I have a 890GXM-G65 motherboard, paired with a AMD Phenom II x6 1090T @4.0Ghz on all 6 cores, liquid cooled, 120gb OCZ Vertex3(primary), and 2TB(secondary)western digital, and a HD 7970 by diamond multimedia, Antec 750watt HCG powersupply, 8GB of kingston hyperX memory 4x2gb, now does there seem to be abottle neck anywhere it should be up there with the fastest systems right??
any way just give me your input dont be too harsh and tell me you thoughts and ideas

about the only things i can pickup on is the following

a 1090t even at 4ghz will not keep up with a 2500k. this will be keeping the 7970 from reaching it's full potential when running at high resolutions and settings.

also for performance based systems a FX motherboard chipset is reccomended e.g. 890FX or 990fx.
this however will not have a great impact on performance.

what is the issue with your system? or do you just want a validation to your epeen that you have an ok system?

well its a fast system currently i have a gtx 560Ti by nvidia and getting the 7970 in the mail in the next day or so but i just feel like the system is a little slugish although it still is fast but not where it should be if you understand what im trying to say do you think getting a FX-8120 OR 8150 will utilize the power and poyetial that the 7970 capable of or maybe a updated motherboard?

A 1090T @ 4.0Ghz won't be a bottleneck. Period. Don't let Intel fanboys tell you different. Yes it can be slower than the 2500K, depending on what benchmark you throw up. It is 100% not a bottleneck though. Bulldozer would be a sidegrade. Don't bother. Your system is fine and a 7970 is a fine option.

ok so im very confused right now i got my hd 7970 by diamond and ive been able to acheive 4.3ghz OC using turbo core stable but im not seeing the performance in my games and in benchmarks i should be a ble to run games at the higest settings getting 60fps but im getting like 50-30fps i even reinstalled windows and wiped everything to make sure nvidia drivers wernt interfering with the amd radeons drivers what do you guys think?

Those numbers seem about right. FPS fluctuate, constant 60FPS usually isn't possible.
