PSU requirement for ATi Radeon 6790

Hello,
I'm looking to buy a ATi Radeon 6790 for my Dell Dimension 9200 so I can run high-end games like Il-2 Cliffs of Dover. What I need to know is what PSU does this card require to run? (Just want to get an idea before I go out and buy it)

Thanks,
A

  2. Ouch..looks like i'm gonna have to look for a new power supply...know anywhere cheap?
  3. then look for a corsair CMPSU 400CX.
  4. That's not all that true you can run the card with much less.

This PSU should work if you still have the OEM one in your computer.

  5. The PC came with a Nvidia GeForce 8800GTX when I got it..but the standard of the stock model is already a Nividia GeForce 7200..so i'm stuck? :o
  6. *Please note I cannot power the machine up until Monday/Tuesday (when the video cable arrives) and I am having to work on visual reference to regonise what's what inside the machine..
