Gaming Computer Build

Hi, I have never before built a computer so I am in need of advice. I am wanting a computer that will play Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Crysis 2 and most modern dx11 games in 1920x1080 resolution on high settings. I would like this build to be as future-proof, as upgradeable, and with the highest performance possible for under $1000. This cost does not need to include an OS. Any help and advce would be greatly appreciated. By the way, please don't get on my case about reading other threads on this forum because I really don't have the time.
