i wouldnt advise such a thing. that seems to be a very generic and bad quality power supply, whats ur budget for a new powersupply, if u tell i can recommand u a nice one that would power the 7950 :)

December 23, 2012 12:49:36 AM

Yea. Looks extremely generic. You definitely need to replace it to use it with your 7950.

that doesnt mean anything look:

http://www.hardocp.com/article/2012/08/27/nvidia_geforc...

overall when overclocked the 660gtx ti is faster than the 7950 its not always about specs, it counts but not every one of em.

and yes should run 60fps but depends also what resolution on ultra ud need a stronger card for 1080p

Where did you find the 660 Ti beats the 7950. The 7950 beats it every possible way. The 660 Ti is between the 7870 and 7950

AMD updated drivers as well, The 7950 also can overclock and is not limited by the 192bit bus and that helps it with AA tasks. Not to mention the 7950 is slightly more expensive than the 660 ti because of its slightly better performance.

yo the gambler stick to what we talked, also the vapor-x u had for that 223 pounds is great its got great cooling and overclocking capabilities, go with that or the gtx 660ti i offered,

Almost any 7950 is good. However, the nzxt phantom is a bit overrated. The CM storm scout sells for 33% less and has better stock cooling with great cable management. Also the CM sickleflows are terrible. Anandtech had a roundup on fans and that was among the worst. Try an Antec Tricool or Corsair fans.

I'm going to sleep now so I won't have any more input on this.

any 7950 thats very vague, theres many that come with different tier coolers, and different factory overclocked version, the vapor-x has one of the best coolers ive seen for ati and its quite overclockable,

i disagree the nzxt is very nice, and sickleflows are great ive owned a few, and tricools

and corsair are nice too.

pm me gambler if u need more assistance :)
