GTX 570 vs HD 7850

i have been comparing these two cards and i still cant decide on which one to buy for playing games.(e.g, battlefield 3, Crysis 1 and 2 and skyrim)

i would get the 7850, when you overclock it on the CCC to 1ghz on the core it will perform like a stock 580, and you dont have to increase voltage

at the current prices, both are viable choices, the 7850 will have newer technology(PCI-E 3.0, newer technology also scales better in overclocking as well) and support more screens by its own. the 570 is stronger in a few select games, and can later be used as a physx card if ever necessary, as well as has cuda if you actually do any professional work.

both are neck to neck but in some games GTX 570 has taken the lead but not that too much about 4 or 5%, get the newer technology card the HD 7850, more quiter, less power consumption, not noisy even at full load, more effiecieny, excellent overclocker.

and like xtreme5 said it consumes way less power, you could run a crossfire of those cards with a 650w psu, and they are very quiet and run cool

Performance wise, based upon common game sin Guru3D's test suite, falls right in between the reference $200 560 Ti and the $210 900Mhz 560 Ti.

well in several of the games the difference is almost nothing, so the cards are pretty much the same, with the 7850 having very low power consumption, and staying cool, and being able to overclock very nice

U know Cavy I have this question also coz I wanted to buy one of these cards and I was confused but I saw that people who are at 7850 side says that 7850 it has lower power consumption noise etc.... (I can have a silent dead card with 10 W power consumption but gives me 2 fps at BF 3 ) but they forgot
1-the amd drivers are crap
2-their GFX cards have lots of crashes
3-they dont last long (non-durable)
4-people who says the 7850 oc that it might reach gtx 580 I tell them since when we compare gfx card at oc we compare them at stock guys and at stock we have gtx 570 a winner
type in google 7850 flickering and enjoy millions who complain about it to make sure how amd are still producing the best garbage in the world :lol:
