I read a few audio sites that had links to software that you could download to your handheld pc so that it could be used as a remote control for audio/video equipment. I have a hpJornada 520, It has a ir sensor, but from what I have read you have to have a hp jornado 56x and up. Does anyone know of anysoftware that I can use for the 520 that will let me use it as a remote? Or is there a way to flash the firmware of the 520 to 56x, so I could then use the software?
Thanks

I had the software that does the remote stuff once for my palm m100, but the transmitters on those things arent good for more than a few feet. I hear the Sony handhelds work well for it, but you will have to look that up.
