Will this GPU work with my computer?

Okay, so I have my eyes set out on this GPU: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004KS8NWU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Now, my question is,

Will it work with my computer?

Computer brand: HP Pavilion p7 1010
All info on it found here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02856262

Computer Monitor: Viewsonic 22 Inch (21.5)

More about will work computer
  1. Should work no problem since you did the PSU upgrade.

I haven't installed the PSU yet but will both the PSU and GPU fit in the case?
  3. The card is 10.24" long and will overhang the motherboard a little so you will have to measure that. If not here is a short HD6870 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150561
PSU should not be a problem.
  4. Yes it should be able to. The motherboard has the sufficient slot for the graphics card and the website says that the case is an ATX, which is perfect for a ATX PSU :)

Will the little overhang be a problem?
I'd really like to stick with the HIS seeing that the cooling on it is great.

Open up your case and see if you have space from the board over to the HDD cages. Your motherboard is 9.6 inches wide so you will need a little less than 3/4" of an inch space over to the HDD cage.

Where did you see that the card was 10.24" long? :??:

I do not know that but here is your motherboard http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02560084&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=5098893

    Okay the case dimensions are 16.14" x 6.89" x 15.28"
Does that even matter or do I have to rely on the motherboard dimensions?
  11. It is the space from the motherboard over to the HDD cage that counts! 3/4" is what you need.
