Well your build looks pretty solid but you need to change your motherboard that motherboard would need a bios update anyways also the ram you chose will conflict with your aftermarket cpu cooler speaking of cpu coolers that's not a very good one i recommend you get the evo the case you chose is great but cost quite a bit you could save almost 80 dollars by going with one of these cases i recommend and you can get a different reliable psu for cheaper anyways here my suggestions PSU:Rosewill HIVE Series HIVE-750 750W Continuous @40°C, 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified, Modular Design, Single +12V Rail, ATX12V v2.31/EPS12V v2.92, SLI Ready, CrossFire Ready, Active-PFC Power Supply

WOW that is one heck of a build for an HTPC! You can definitely lower that price.

1) 12TB of storage? Holy ***. That's how much storage Maximum PC put in their DREAM MACHINE. For a gamer and an HTPC, you only need around 1TB. Keep in mind that a TB is 1000GB which is a buttload of storage space.

2) Your card looks good, but you could consider a GTX-670 Superclocked 4GB

3)Switch to a Corsair TX-750W V2 which is manufactured by Seasonic

4) For a highend gaming system consider getting a better keyboard and mouse. It may not seem important but a backlit, laser etched, mechanical keyboard is heavenly compared to a stamped rubber dome keyboard. I would suggest a Cooler Master CM Storm Quickfire, Pro, or Trigger. They are amazing keyboards. If you want highend, spring for a Max Nighthawk x9. It's around $150 bucks, but I have one and HOLY GOD it's the greatest keyboard EVER. Period. As for a mouse pick up a logitech or cooler master, you can't really go wrong with those two.

5) RAM is great!

6) That motherboard is great, but has way to many features that you don't need. I would spring for a cheaper but just as good ASRock Extreme4

7) An i7 is completely unnecessary for gaming. Unless you are doing hardcore rendering, get an i5-3570K

8) Havent heard much about that cooler, but I'm sure it's ok. If you are looking for great performance pick up a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo (Seeing a trend of Cooler master yet :p )

9) You can find a much cheaper Blu-ray drive on Newegg. Sony, LG, Liteon, Asus all make great optical drives but really you can't go wrong

10) That's a great SSD, if you want Newegg is having a sale on the 256GB version which is what I use!

I didn't have the willpower to add that all up but based on sale prices, I would say it's around $1400-$1500 buckaronies. Let me know if you have any other questions!

You can grab a Rosewill THOR V2 Full Tower for about $119.99. Not only is it a great case with TONS of cooling, but it has enough room that you can use it as a vacation home on holidays!
