Who has had experience with Contax lenses (especially medium
WA like 24mm) mounted via an adapter to Canon digital EF mount
camers (especially full frame)? I have seen some references where
these lenses seem far superior to Canon's.
Anyone care to comment?

Why not cite your sources?

Are you just interested in talk or action? If you can't afford the
equipment, why blather about it? (Perhaps this explains RichA's
fascination with low-end glass?) Anyways a few moments at google
brings up:

Go search this forum. They have many threads on the subject and the
consensus is they are superior to Canon's.

Here's one such comparison.

I don't think RichA is going to put down 4-3 thousand on a piece of
Ziess glass for his "magnesium" body point and shoot.
