New i7 3770k Build Freezes

Hello Folks,

I just put together my new build. Here are the details

Crucial M4 CT256M4SSD2 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal SSD,
INTEL BOX INTEL CORE I7-3770K,
MB ASROCK Z77 EXTREME4 Z77 1155 R,
PSU CORSAIR 500W CMPSU-500CXV2 R,
MEM 4Gx4 CORSAIR CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9,
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler

I have linux mint installed on it. I am experiencing random freezes after which I have to forcefully shut it down. Please help.

Thanks for the reply. How can I be sure about the cause? Do you have an idea what logs to look into inside Linux?
