The 680gtx they remain impossiblr to get ?

Solution

EVGA.com restocks between 7-8pm EST every weekday. I almost always see at least one 680 in stock around that time. just pick your favorite weekday and camp out at the website hitting f5 for 15-30min, I'm sure you'll get one

because the 670gtx are bugged like crap lots of us are having driver crashing issue, low fps and poor benchmark.

If you go take a look on the EVGA forums you'll see it is filled with dude asking why their driver stopped to respond but revored every 5-10min playing demanding game.

So I'm going to RMA the two 670 and get two 680.

And no the problem isn't on my side, I've trouble shooted every single piece of hardware I do have and did everything EVGA told me to do till they told me to RMA.

Two 670gtx and both are bugged.

Yes I know all about the issues some people are having with certain GTX 670s.

I've owned 4 GTX 670s myself. Two vanilla EVGA 670s (one which I had to RMA) and two EVGA 670 FTW.

Might I suggest you look into the EVGA GTX 670 FTW, it is basically a GTX 680 but £100 cheaper. (uses same PCB and Cooler as 680 and has GTX 680 performance right out of the box)

Zero issues with mine.

thanks for the advice but I'm going watercooled so the extra air cooling would be wasted.

Also the EVGA forums are mostly filled with FTW problems then vanilla GPU.

yeah thansk everyone just ordered two 680gtx super clocked with backplate from EVGA.com

Can't wait to see these beauty.

I'am little sad for the 670gtx on store clock I have reached 200fps on BF3 in go hunting mission but its one of the very rare time the card wanted to work like they should.

But well I guess that I,ll enjoy the 680 even more once I'll received my three 27inch monitor :)

Yes, seriously. We cannot just make our own assumptions, can we? ;)

Thanks for sharing. I have read a lot about 670 problems. Now this thread adds up to that. Makes me have 2nd thought about this otherwise very good card.
