What is the problem you are really having? Are you running them on like lowest detail? Do they not run at all?

Give us a better description of your computer, including the power supply, and other specs.

Are your drivers completely up to date? What are the temps of your components?

You are right though, you should be able to play any game out there, but this problem is weird. Have you tried any other game?

It might just be the Final Fantasy if the other game runs fine, you could probably just reinstall it or something.

Are you running the game in windowed mode?

You may try installing and running a different game to verify your setup.

Is this a new build or an upgrade?

Assuming it is an upgrade was your Previous card from Nvidia? If so you probably are going to want to uninstall all of the GeForce Drivers so there are no conflicts. Then do a Clean install of the AMD Catalyst drivers. (The full package)

Are you sure you didn't plug your monitor into your onboard graphics...?

Can you verify that the 7870 is showing in Device Manager under Display adapters?

Need more details :-

1. How have you connected the monitor to your pc ?( VGA,DVI, DP)
2. What resolution are you running at?
3. What PSU are you using?

your whole system is good enough to power that gpu your psu will power that gpu even overclocked with oced cpu so no problem with psu, your cpu is one of the best one for gaming so no problem with it at all the problems, maybe you have not downloaded the direct x or driver of that gpu thats why you cant run that games.:)
