Sound card compatible with my speakers?

Will it work with these speakers?: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836852001&Tpk=Corsair%20sp2500

This will work with it but why taking a 185$ sound card ? unless you own a studio and work a lot with sounds there's no point doing that ... i think (not quite sure) that you don't even need a sound card ... as long as your motherboard have onboard audio, you're okay

Just to be sure, buy the speaker system first and if it dosen't work, look for a sound card
