Hey guys!
I need help making a gaming build that also can do capture software and render.

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: Anytime Before Christmas 2013

Budget Range: $500-$1200

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Capture Software, Rendering Videos, Internet, Movies

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Parts to Upgrade: (e.g.: CPU, mobo, RAM) No, starting a new build

Do you need to buy OS: Yes, Windows 7 64bit

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com

Location: Layton, Utah, United States

Parts Preferences: None

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: I have no clue what this is :L

Your Monitor Resolution: I don't know

Additional Comments: I am under a color scheme of Blue/Black/Grey

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My laptop that I uses is horrible at gaming, can handle capture software and I would like to get a YouTube channel started up.

Thanks for the help!

The fractal design case says "mid tower" but is full size ATX, the same size as other "full towers" really. You should basically choose whichever case you like.

You might save $20 or so going with an x4, but your performance will be lower and you'd need an AMD motherboard. The i3 is dual core, but each core operates faster than the amd quad core.
