Case fan controlling

Hi,

I am building a new machine and have a small question. I will be plugging my CPU fan into my motherboard obviously. However I would ideally like to plug all case fans (molex) into a fan controller (preferably not a 5.25" drive) but then control the fans speed via software.

So ultimately, I can set the CPU fan to whatever I wish, and then change ALL other case fans as and when I please using one piece of software.

Firstly is this possible? If yes then how is it possible, what hardware/software would I need?

Many thanks,

James.

you can do that with asus boards. their fanxpert 2 lets you set fan curves on 4 pin and 3 pin fans. no molex though but you can get adaptors
