i just want to know if the Radeon HD 7770 can max out, ultra settings, anti aliasing etc on all current games and future games without bottlenecking on a FULL HD MONITOR 1900X1080 resolution? like BF3, Alan wake, ME3, Modern Warfare 3, max payne 3 etc. all the demanding games now a days?

lets say a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB

take it easy guys noob here :D

thanks, got a Intel Core i3-2100 Sandy Bridge 3.1 with a ECS H61H2-M2 motherboard.. the thing is im from the Philippines and the GPU here is a little bit overpriced, for example the Sapphire radeon Hd7770 is price here at P 7,690 ($181) and the SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 is around P 8,890 ($210) and my budget is kinda around the $180-190 range for here, but the difference between the two cards would be noticeable? hd 7770 uses less power consumption compared to the 6870, thats what really attracts me

wow that is huge thanks, i was hoping for the ASUS HD7850 would be cool, just add another money to my budget? but im worried of the size of that monster, see my case is the Aerocool Strike X One Advance
http://www.aerocool.com.tw/index.php/products/strike-x/..... would this one even fit to my case, im having a inno3d gts 250 512 now and i thinks its a 6 inches gap between my card and the tray of the HDD.. and another thing transitioning for a NVIDIA to AMD gpu is hard? im afraid of having not to install properly the nvidia drivers in favor of amd catalyst and i will have bsod the rest of the way.. thanks man..

Just uninstall Nvidia drivers from Control Panel in Windows, swap cards, then boot up. It will load a generic driver. Then go to AMD's website to get the latest drivers for your card.

im using a windows 7 home basic 64bit.. so this asus 7850 card would fit in my case?.. okay and no more driver sweeper? cleaners? thats the part were i got confused sometimes and a bit tricky for me..

Sapphire is a good brand. I don't think your i3 CPU will be able to keep up with the video card, last benchmark I remember with an i3 the CPU was bottlenecking the video cards. Although almost any video card is better than the 240 you have now, you may be limited from getting good results due to the CPU. Can still run on pretty high settings, but may not be able to run at all high on that resolution.

Really? that's an eye-opener, i have no idea that my I3-2100 will bottleneck the hd 7850, i was planning to get this card so i can max out on all games on a full hd 1900x1080 resolution.. so what gpu you can suggest that will not bottleneck my cpu? my mobo is not even that great, it is really a budget rig..

You can still get that card and just upgrade the CPU later if you find it's not performing as you like. Like I said, you will see a big improvement over the 240 and you may as well get something that will match a faster CPU down the line.

I got the 7850 SAPPHIRE which is 2GB and a CPU i5 3450 (3.1GHz, gets to about 3.3 at full load) and BF3 can run maxed out (AAx2 not x4) with 1280x1024, but if you got a screen like I have which is wide and FullHD and you would like to play at 1920X1080, then its not gonna run maxed out, but you will get a very good graphic with very good preformence - about 70-80FPS very stable and Texture "Ultra" and everything else "High", no AA, HBAQ- Low, Motion Blur- On...
Thats pretty sweet graphics and FPS :)
