I am looking to build a hackintosh. Firstly, is the Sapphire Hd Radeon 6870 compatible?
And secondly, what is the best motherboard for the hackintosh (easiest to set up) for under £100?

Thanks, Adam

Gigabyte boards.
6870 is the most compatible card.

Thanks amuffin. Does the brand of the card matter at all?

Another question. Is the Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4-B3 being discontinued? Since I cannot find it on any British website at all and the american websites have it as out of stock. I'm really gutted because osx86project says that it is the best motherboard and works perfectly with the 6870.

You'd want the Z68X-UD3H-B3! That's what I'm using right now with a 5450.

What about the Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H? Is that also good for a newbie?
I just think your one is a bit to expensive for my budget.

I'm not sure if the Z77 chipset is a good choice.....

Why? Does it make it harder to make the hackintosh work fully? Also what is the difference between the z77 chipset and the z68 chipset?
But thanks for replying
