There's a couple of things I would suggest:

1. The Thor is a *MONSTER* case and you don't need it for a regular ATX system, it's major overkill. You could drop that to a Corsair 500R and save some money there: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139010

If you were building your system around a huge motherboard like the EVGA Z77 FTW or the Asus Rampage IV Extreme, then I would say get the Thor, otherwise it's not needed.

2. I am in the minority here, but I personally would never spend $160 on peripherals - that's a huge waste of money to me, you could put that elsewhere.

3. You'll most likely never use the full 3TB capacity of the drive you chose, you could drop that to a 2TB. You can always add more drives as your storage needs increase.

Otherwise pretty much everything else looks good.

Well in that case yeah I'd say 3TB is needed. You can always reuse your existing HDs provided they have a SATA interface.

very high end rig but i stuffed it down to a matx size case. just be careful with the fan clips that the cooler has since it might touch the back of the video card which you dont want to do. you can the clips in electric tape if you find out that it touches the back of the video card

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/eaiY.

the rig is also very quiet
