My current build is as follows (sorry for the length)

Biostar a880g+ motherboard

Athlon x3 455 (unlocked 4th core)

8gb gskill 1333

pny 550ti (oc to1020mhz)

and 550 watt psu (forget brand)

anyway my friend came up on hard times and had to sell his mid gaming rig. He couldnt get what he wanted out of it so i picked up a few components off of him to basically give him some money. I ended up with an msi 7850 and a phenom II x4 955be for about $150 i knew that was cheap but i think his pride got in the way. So with these new parts i was going to get a new motherboard so i could also get another 7850 and crossfire. i realize i would probably want to get a new psu and my friend was able to oblige i traded him my 550w plus 50 bones for his 1000w corsair. my real question is is this going to be worth it? is the 955 going to bottleneck the two 7850s? i know that intels i5 series is kick ass buy i root for the underdog. basically i got a lot of pretty decent parts for cheap and want to make the most out of it. should i go with this plan which is plan (A) OR go with plan (B) which is to sit on these parts and wait until my friend decides he wants to buy them back; which he has stated he getting out of the building game. Quick question, what 7850's are they. You got MSI R7850 PE 2GD5/OC Radeon HD 7850 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card or MSI R7850 Twin Frozr 2GD5/OC Radeon HD 7850 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Personally I think a 1000WPSU is a bit much, but since you got it you might as well use it.

the 955 will choke the 7850 cf on cpu intensive games unless that 955 is overclocked pretty well I would think, but an athlon unlocked can only get you so far. IMO it would be more beneficial for a cpu/mobo change if possible then a second 7850
