    Yes it will if the psu actually outputs 300w.

    Plz post your PSU brand and model.

    Not enough info to give you definite answer.
  4. Anything between 400-500W should do, they have cheap 50$ ones, go with a brand like Seasonic.
  5. I would say yes so long as the motherboard is PCI Express v1.1 compliant, vs the original PCI Express v1.0 spec.

    - In v1.1 I believe they increased the power output that the PCIe x16 slot can output by +10 watts.

    - Most HD7750's on the market don't require additional power.
    - The 'newer' ones do, this has pros and cons.

    What is the current video card in the system?
    Does that card consume +/- 25 watts of a HD7750.
    - If it does then there is a good chance it will work fine.

    This card has a fairly good chance of working on a 300 watt PSU

  6. PS: If you do have trouble with it due to having a lower power PSU, or even a PCIe v1.0 motherboard, then try 'under-clocking' the card to ~775MHz to ~825MHz instead.

    The original HD7750's factory specs are available from the AMD/ATI website:

  9. HD7750;
    55 watt TDP, 400 watt psu reccomendation

    GT430;
    49 watt TDP, 300 watt psu reccomendation

    Difference's in power consumption

    GT430 has a higher draw in Furmark and a much lower power reccomendation, go figure

    Yes a 7750 will run on a 300w/19a oem psu

    Hi again Angel - I didn't find a review for bestec 300w, but they had
    a terrible review on an older 250w. Your's might be fine as HP
    prob contracted somewhat better specs than the old
    250w I found.

    MODEL WATTS PROBLEMS AND ISSUES REVIEWS
    ATX-250-12E 250 Infamous for frying motherboards. Ancient ATX12V 1.3 design. 5VSB performance is awful. Below average build quality. jonnyGURU

    So, use your gpu now, but start saving for an upgrade. You
    won't need an expensive PSU, but a 350-430w from a quality brand
    will give you peace of mind along with headroom.

    Hope you are joking on buying a Coolermaster (aka crappermaster) PSU.
