I have a 25 inch 1080p monitor. I want to be able to play any game at max settings. Are the parts here all compatible (Is the PSU 650 Watts enough)? Much help would be appreciated to finalize my parts.

More about gaming budget
  1. Also, should i get a gtx 670 or wait for the gtx 660ti
  2. The 670 is a better card than the 660 Ti .... if budget allows, get one

I'd move up to the 612 PWM with Ivy Bridge CPUs

CM Storm Trooper Case - 9.00 rating

    Corsair 500R Case - 9.25 rating

500R is a better case for $20 less

You have selected a MoBo which is capable of SLI and a PSU that is not ???? Suggest a Corsair TX / XFX Core Edition 750 watter for moderate overclocking ..... HX850 for heavt OC or CPOU and twin GPUS's
  3. isnt the 660ti the same thing as 670 but 100 dollars less
  4. no...... but I'll bet on a cost per frame basis, the non-reference 660 Ti's blow everything else outta the water, just like the 560's did.

  5. I dont plan to do SLI, what mobo and psu should i get. also what case should i get instead of the storm trooper? ill be willing to spend anywhere from 80-150 on a computer case
  6. any suggestions?
  7. The psu youve got above is fine, the sabertooth is a good board if you want to go a bit cheaper for an equally good board go for the extreme4 (i have one).

I'd see how the 660ti turns out tbh because as many people have said over the last few weeks on here if you dont get it atleast prices will (should) drop on everything else.
  8. the sabertooth is 250 dollars
  9. Yea thats why i said the extreme 4 is a cheaper option, to be honest with you the system you've posted in the opening post is very good gaming build.

I have the 3570k and the ripjaws in my extreme4 build and i cant speak highly enough of all of them.
  10. which gtx 670 is better, the gigabyte or EVGA FTW?
  11. Gigabyte has a better cooler.
