Router/Wi-Fi Combo Unit for Home Use?

I'm looking to replace a broken Linksys 8-port router that was connected to a D-Link Wi-Fi unit. I'm not sure what hardware to go with for use in a house ~2000 sq. ft. I'll be using an Xbox (currently hardwired), Wii (wifi equipped), iPad, PC laptop along with a desk top PC (currently hardwired) sometimes simultaneously.

Any suggestions?

I wound up picking up a Cisco Valet Plus for $47 locally. So far, working well.
