I3 versus fx4100 with grafic card

which is better fx4100 with nvidia 560 gt or i3 with radeon hd 6850

It depends on the game and whether you want to overclock really. The Intel one would be better for RTS and simulation games and the one with the GTX 560 would be a bit better for FPS games.

The i3 can't be overclocked though, if you plan to overclock then the AMD route would give better performance on both sides.

Even at 4.5ghz the 4100 is slower than the i3. It depends on the games you want to play really, the 4100 overclocked would be better for massive multiplayer games, but you'll need a good aftermarket cooler and you'll use twice the power and create twice the heat and not really have any upgrade path.

If you go the i3 router, it's green, and has an Ivy Bridge upgrade path.

Thanx a lot i've made my mind to upgrade my machine with fx4100, nvidea gtx 560, cooler master psu 550w bronze, Biostar a880gz , corsair ddr3 4gb ram.
