2 monitor questions

Hey, i want to use 2 monitors on one computer. how am i suppose to hook it up and the each monitor do 2 different things? like 1 playing movies and other one i can surf the web.

In the OS you can configure what each monitor is doing. Hook up is easiest with a video card with two connectors otherwise you may need a spliter cable IF available for your video.

there r options like clone ( same images on both ) or independent of each other in ur display control panel ( right click in any empty are on ur desktop to access) panel may look diff for diff video card type like nvidia intel amd. but all of them have same common properties just styled differently. u will see multiple monitor option in them.

Ur video card should support multiple monitor.

suppose one monitor is primary. u will have drag with ur mouse ur program to the other monitor to see it on that. just experiment a bit

some people now use the intel or amd cpu built in video chipset for one monitor as there ok for surfing the web and light gaming.
