I'm looking for the reader with the fastest Digital Audio Extraction. I prefer a SCSI CD-ROM, but if it has to be IDE, then the fastest DVD-ROM for DAE. I'm looking for anything that will do DAE above 24x.

ltd-163 is best DVD drive.

Ultra Wide 40x plex can't be beat for DAE speed. I think the new burners that read at 40x may be able to do as fast of DAE but they're IDE so the ultra wide scsi 40x plex still rules.

cdrinfo.com will tell you all about it. cdrlabs.com

use this prog for ripping
www.exactaudiocopy.de

or www.feurio.com
use feurio to burn definately.

if you have a modern burner crash, use that for DAE.
it will be far faster than most cd-rom's/dvd drives.

my ricoh 12x10x32x averages 20-24, and can actually reach 32 in the outer tracks.

I'll respect your comments & opinions, even if i disagree with them, Provided you display maturity.

I'm looking at CD to CD coppies, it would seem silly to have a second burner for that. I'm going to look into that DVD-ROM forgetthatty suggested.
