Hey guys, I'm planning on buying this build on August 18th. Hopefully the new GTX 660ti will be out by then and im planning the build around that. As of now im not planning to overclock, but I probably will in a year when my build starts to age and I can always buy a better fan then. Also I might buy another GTX 660ti then. Just wanted to make sure everything will work together and the power supply will be enough to OC and add another gpu later on. Also, I have an old CD/DVD drive laying around and I wanted to know if it would work in here or if I should just get a cheap one anyway.

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($189.99 @ Microcenter)

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro3 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($102.55 @ Newegg)

Memory: Mushkin Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($46.99 @ Newegg)

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($77.99 @ NCIX US)

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case ($49.49 @ SuperBiiz)

Power Supply: Corsair 650W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($79.99 @ Newegg)

GPU- GTX 660ti - $300

Total: $847.00

Thanks for all the help!

whoops, just checked and its not, (thanks obsama!) but i think ill still be happy with the 660ti for a long time, and this way i dont need to upgrade the PSU either, but otherwise i think ill be pretty happy considering my current setup barely runs SC2 on low lol

If your old one uses esata the dvd drive will work. But you might just wanna get a new one they're like 15 bucks. everything is solid though. Also is the 660ti only gonna be $300?

from everything ive heard thats what its going to be, i cant see it being significantly more since the old 670 is basically the same card at $400, the 660ti is just a little slower i think so at worst it will be $350 i hope

*No, for SLI you will need the Asrock Z77 Extreme 4

*You might want to add a CPU cooler to overclock it a little, the Coolermaster's 212 EVO will do.

$350? I think more like $300, but it's all moot point till it's revealed.

if the price diference is only 50$ then you better get the GTX 670 (but you will need a 750w to SLI).

This PSU will be more than enough: http://pcpartpicker.com/mr/microcenter/pc-power--coolin...
