I need to buy a new VGA for an old rig with ASUS LGA775 and Intel Core 2 Duo CPU. What video card would be maximumly fast for it and won't bottleneck on the rig?

Will 7770/7750 or 550 Ti bottleneck?

EDIT: I'd like a video card with a lifetime warranty.

in the really modern games (like bf3) ur cpu would def limit the 6870....its really hard to tell when it comes to bottelnecks unless you see for yourself...there are not many reviews on cards testing to see exactly what cpus will bottleneck what gpus....but if i were you I would spend the 10 bucks or so and get a 7770 instead of a 7750 it would be worth it.....heres an xfx one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150598 it should run well with your current cpu

what intel core 2 duo is it? and is it overclocked? if so to what speed? Usually I recomend a 6870 for right around 150 bucks I feel its some of the best bang for your buck can play bf3 all on high at 1680x1050 no problems.

It is E6550 @ 2.33, not OCed.

And I prefer a VGA with a lifetime warranty. So, I guess I'm limited to PNY, XFX and old models from EVGA.
