Overclocking HD 6870... 1200mhz memory and no artifacts yet?

Hello,

I have 960mhz core stable, and working on memory.

I'm at 1200 and there is no artifacting yet. Do I keep going?

I'm using afterburner + GPU Tool.

I would suggest to play games on it. I usually am able to achieve high core & memory clocks without artifacting during stress. But it does crash when I play games so there is your real test before you go on.

Since we don't know what GPU you have we don't know if that's good or not.

Yes. The reviews usually achieve the same about the core clocks but your memory overclock is much higher than what they are able to achieve. As suggested, try playing games on it. That is the real test.

Oops missed title... normally just read first post, my bad. What model do you have can you link it? Different models should receive better/worse OC.
